Together, this faculty represents over a century of combined experience in pediatric urology and surgery, having led national academic bodies (AIIMS, Apollo, AIAPU, ESPU), authored hundreds of peer-reviewed publications, and established training programs, robotic surgery protocols, and research breakthroughs recognized across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Prof. Ramnath Subramaniam, MS, MCh, FRCSI, FRCS (Paed), FEAPU, PhD
Consultant Paediatric Urologist, Leeds Teaching Hospitals & Visiting Professor, Ghent and Vilnius Universities
Prof. Subramaniam is internationally renowned for his contributions to robotic pediatric urology and urothelial tissue engineering. He has published extensively in European Urology, Journal of Pediatric Urology, and World Journal of Urology, with over 150 peer-reviewed papers. A Chairman of Education (2008–2016) at the European Society of Pediatric Urology (ESPU), he developed the European Fellowship curriculum and examination system. He continues to mentor robotic surgeons globally and leads research on biomaterials for bladder reconstruction
Prof. M. Bajpai, MS, MCh, FRCS, FACS, PhD, FAMS, Fulbright Scholar (Johns Hopkins)
Principal Director & Head, Pediatric Surgery, Yashoda Medicity, NCR Delhi
Formerly Dean (Academics) and Head of Pediatric Surgery at AIIMS, New Delhi, Prof. Bajpai is an eminent surgeon-scientist recognized nationally and internationally. His pioneering work includes genital reconstruction, lumboscopy, and molecular markers in congenital uropathies. He has published over 350 scientific papers and 107 book chapters, and received several prestigious awards including the Dr. Kamla Menon Award (1995) and Kunti Omprakash Gold Medal (2009). His research on the genetic basis of renal injury in Indian children has been globally cited.

Prof. V. Sripathi, MS, MCh, FRACS, EBPU
Director, Pediatric Urology Fellowship, Apollo Children’s Hospital, Chennai
A leader in pediatric robotic and endoscopic surgery, Prof. Sripathi was instrumental in developing pediatric urodynamics and robotic surgery in India and Southeast Asia. He has supervised the separation of multiple conjoined twins, published over 60 papers, and trained the first cohort of pediatric urology fellows under the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. His honors include the Howard Eddey Medal (FRACS) and invitations to international consensus panels such as Krickenbeck (2005) on anorectal malformations.

Prof. Sujit K. Chowdhary, FRCS, DNB, MCh (PGI Chandigarh)
Director, Apollo Institute of Pediatric Sciences, New Delhi
A pioneer in pediatric and robotic urology in India, Dr. Chowdhary established one of the largest pediatric robotic surgery programs globally, with over 600 robotic procedures and 10,000 pediatric surgeries completed with <1% mortality. He is a Senior Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons (England & Edinburgh) and Editorial Board Member of major journals like Journal of Urology (USA) and Journal of Pediatric Urology (Europe). His unit has been India’s first to be accredited for fellowship training in pediatric urology. He has delivered over 100 invited lectures worldwide, authored over 100 indexed publications, and contributed to leading textbooks in pediatric urology

Dr. Subhasis Saha, MS, MCh (Paediatric Surgery), DNB, Dip. Laparoscopic Surgery
Senior Consultant Pediatric Surgeon, Kolkata
Dr. Saha is a leading pediatric surgeon and urodynamic expert with broad training in India and the USA (Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, University of Alabama, and Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital). He has been a faculty member for Pediatric Endoscopic Surgeons of India (PESI) since 2010 and served as Chairman (2022–2023) of the Society for Pediatric Urology. He has received multiple academic honors including the J. M. Sengupta Gold Medal and the BAPS Award (2010) from the British Association of Pediatric Surgeons. Dr. Saha has published in Journal of Pediatric Surgery, Indian Pediatrics, and Journal of Pediatric Urology, and authored textbook chapters in the IAPS Textbook of Pediatric Surgery and Practical Procedures in Pediatric Nephrology

Dr. Uma Ali, MBBS, MD Pediatrics, Diploma in Child Health (DCH).
Dr. Uma Ali is a senior Paediatric Nephrologist (child kidney specialist) practicing in Mumbai and Thane, Maharashtra. She is associated with Jupiter Hospital (Thane) as a Consultant in Nephrology. She has over 40 years of experience in pediatrics and pediatric nephrology. She also undertook specialized training in pediatric nephrology, including a fellowship at the Kidney Centre, Kitasato, Japan. She formerly served as Head of the Pediatric Nephrology division and PICU at BJ Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai. She is a founder member of the Kidney Foundation for Children, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and improving pediatric kidney care in India. Within professional societies, she has held roles such as Councilor, Chairperson, and active member in bodies like the Indian Society of Pediatric Nephrology and the International Pediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA).
